The sodium-cooled fast reactor is the most technologically mature fourth-generation nuclear reactor that has been put into commercial operation. China is one of the few countries in the world that have mastered the development of sodium-cooled fast reactors and their key components, and Zhefu Nuclear Power is the first entity in China licensed to manufacture the main circulating pump of the primary circuit of a sodium-cooled fast reactor, which is currently the largest main nuclear reactor pump in the world, as well as the first to achieve desirable performance in supply.  Zhefu Nuclear Power has conquered the ultra-large area carbide welding technology,multi-segment spindle(with high coaxiality)maching technology,and the integral machining technology of large complex centrifugal pump impellers.

      The lead-bismuth cooled fast reactor is a national key fourth-generation nuclear reactor under development. It is characterized by small size and high inherent safety. Zhefu Nuclear Power has channeled ongoing efforts to develop lead-bismuth cooled fast reactors based on its own technological foundation in the development of main circulating pump for the fast reactors. So far, it has completed developing the prototypes of megawatt and 10-megawatt main nuclear reactor pumps, and demonstrating the design of 100-megawatt main nuclear reactor pumps.

       Zhefu Nuclear Power is the first Chinese company to obtain a supply contract for components of a pool type reactor for low-temperature nuclear heat. Currently, the company is applying for a manufacturing license for this product.

      The Eletromagnrtic pump leverages the conductivity of the transmission medium for transmission without any rotating parts. This makes it extremely reliable and requires little maintenance efforts. It is also a prioritized type for space and underwater reactors as well as the circuit of a liquid metal cooled reactor. Zhefu Nuclear Power is one of the few suppliers of electromagnetic pumps that ensure nuclear safety in China with independent design, manufacturing, and testing capabilities. It has achieved desirable performance in supply of electromagnetic pumps of sodium and lead-bismuth cooled fast reactors, and their comprehensive performance indicators are superior to most global peers.

       Based on radial-wise integration of electromotors and propellers and equipped with seawater/river water-proof self-lubricating bearings, a rim-driven propeller developed by Zhefu Nuclear Power is small sized, maintenance-free, and no auxiliary system required.
